Lisa Waterman is the Founder, creator and moderator of iLaw, a private listserv for lawyers and law firms. A discreet, confidential professional consulting consortium for attorneys who seek information, advice, referrals and collegiality, iLaw currently boasts over 1800 members worldwide. It is a cooperative group of colleagues whose insights and talents are ready to support members in their work and help them grow their practices. Prior to her successes in the accounting industry, Ms. Waterman spent 15 years driving the successful advertising and public relations programs for two of the world’s leading industrial electronics manufacturers.
Ms. Waterman is a Member of Gotham City Networking Group, and Co-Chair of the LI Women’s Group. A Founding Member of Gotham LI, LI Legal, LI Women and NY Legal and former Executive Vice President of the Long Island Women’s Agenda, Lisa has been an active member of a number of professional and charitable organizations including AAM, the HIA, LI Center for Business & Professional Women, From Our Hearts, M3P, CCFA, and the American Heart Association. A recognized Marketing Achiever by Long Island Business News, Lisa has received a number of awards including one of 2014’s Most Influential Women In Business By Long Island Business News, Gotham City Networking Networker of the Year, and a Top In-House Marketing Executive from a number of organizations including LIBN, the Long Island Ad Club and Execuleaders.
