I am getting so tired of updating my phone.   It seems as if, everyday, there are more updates for Apps on my phone. If I go a few days without updating my phone, the amount of updates grow exponentially.   While looking at my phone my grown children have reprimanded me for not updating sooner. They also reprimand me f having too many unread emails or unread text messages but that’s a blog for another day.
Last week (No matter last night’s outcome as this got drafted before the NLDS game that matters to this commentator.) was a rather nice. In the middle of the summer I made plans with Marisa to take my daughter who likes live music at least as much as her dad to see the Doobie Brothers at the Capitol Theatre in Portchester last Monday eve.
Fred had a big ask the other day. He wanted me to gather all of the blogs he had written and publish a book of them.    Now I know that's quite a task given that the site has gone through several iterations (another one right now in fact:) and acquiring the older blogs was going to be problematic.
When you're wrong, you're wrong and must own up to it!I was wrong about Met Shortstop Francisco Lindor and here's why.
We were in Montreal a few weeks ago on an art tour with like-minded friends from the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass. At dinner one evening one of the participants fell sick requiring a call to medics and, ultimately, several hours at the emergency room before he was stabilized.
Yesterday I celebrated 10 years of practicing under my own shingle. It has zoomed by! (That term takes on a whole new meaning these days) Looking back, I recognized what I had known all along...I did not do this alone. I had some great mentors and so many great colleagues who have trusted me to handle their clients needs.  I also have a phenomenal staff to help keep me sane (or relatively so).    Having a successful practice requires a lot of time and sacrifices, all while trying not to miss deadlines and manage multiple calendars and obligations.
I have to admit, I am a bit of a news junkie.  I will read, watch and listen in multiple modes and medium.
Is there a food you have an absolute aversion to?   For me, it’s cooked carrots. I absolutely love raw carrots. I eat raw baby  carrots by the bagful. I often go through a bag weekly.   The moment you put a little heat under a carrot, however, I cannot look at it, let alone eat it.
