We are the Gotham group that strives to help Gotham members, and Gotham, Make a Difference in the world.
We do this by gathering together around our table Gotham members and their guests who are interested in, involved with, or work with, not-for-profit organizations. We encourage and support their business activities with not-for-profits (and for-profits too), as well as supporting Gotham's charitable activities, through networking and educational efforts. If you want to know about the charities that Gotham has supported through its foundation, please check out http://www.gothamfoundation.org.
Our group, and its members, are resources for non-profits of all shapes and sizes. To highlight this, we have posted below copies of spotlight presentations that were given at our meetings to help you with your non-profit activities.
We are an open group, and so welcome all to our table, even those who are not necessarily involved with not-for-profits. R.S.V.P.s to our meetings are made through Gotham’s website. We do, however, ask our guests to coordinate their visits with us by contacting our Group Coordinator or one of our Chairs before joining our table to ensure we minimize the presentation of conflicts and achieve a "Gothamly"collegiality around our table.
Gotham Make a Difference was founded within Gotham by the late Christopher Lamal who was committed to working with the non-profit sector and was a great member of Gotham who lived our motto, "It's better to give than receive." We miss Chris but honor his memory by continuing on with Gotham MAD.
