It happened again last night. I do not believe I will have to recount the details of what occurred after you read my questions. So here goes:

 

Toilet seat, up or down? Why? And what about the cover?

Easy answer. Pandemic rules: cover down and then flush so who'd bother to uncover or more following that?

With my healing wife, I am especially aware to leave the seat down. Cover down to flush #2 but optional if #1.
At night, I just got into the habit to sit and therefore no need to worry about seat being left up.

We had the same issue with the kids' bathroom. But there the girls greatly outnumbered the boys. Majority ruled.
