So I’m up in the Santa Cruz Mountains of Northern California . It’s an isolated location that has a history of mystery . The rumors self perpetuate. I’ve been up here going on 30 years . The citizens live up to the reputation . The way of life strikingly different . We are removed from the banal life of Gothamites and life in the city. In a way we live by our own Bill of Rights . Shoot first and ask questions later maybe ? Nothing much changes up here . The shelves are always stocked . The black squirrels hang out with the gray squirrels. Not many people up here to create chaos . No competition for ventilators . You can even order groceries on line and have them delivered to your car . So it’s a different world . I’m not without empathy for you Gotham . It’s a complicated world . Choices and necessity play the big role . The consequences are dramatic. We come into this life fragile and helpless . And we go out the same way . In between ? It depends on the choices one makes . And so I sit up here the master of my universe .
