Oftentimes we’ll just put the TV on in the evening for background noise while we clean up the dishes and move on to other tasks. (We rarely block out the time to sit and watch one of the many “streamed” shows the are in the “must watch” list.)So, we have one of the formulaic network shows in the background.
Its been 5 years sine the world has become consumed with Zoom. Covid forced the world to go remote over night and everyone landed on the zoom screen. Zoom stock zoomed but has since crashed. Everyone is still using zoom on a daily basis, it has become apart of the everyday fabric along with a few other platforms that realized they needed to catch up. But 5 years later I have found zoom meetings to have become over crowded, the more prople that join the smaller everyones real estate is on the screen.
Some family traditions stick and just remind you of special times.  In my family, one of those traditions is full of frogs.  
I am Jewish. I am an Ashkenazi Jew. One of my father’s core religious beliefs, however, was that everyone should follow their religion in their own way.  My father was raised Orthodox, yet he chose to raise his family in a conservative manner.  
Most people think networking is about meeting folks to do business with or to aid them move up the ladder in their careers.
You may know I drive a manual shift. There are very few on the road today and it certainly puts me squarely into a specific age demographic. So when I saw this image on the rear windshield of a Subaru WRX, I couldn't help but smile. True that!  
We have a next door neighbor, Charlotte (Charlie) Johnson, who we have known for over 6 years and have seen mature into an accomplished young woman.   After suffering a number of medical setbacks for over 2 years, surviving a serious bike accident and changing schools, she found herself falling behind, but found her niche in a local high school/college program and figured out how to take the SAT test without asking for (needed) extra time. 
There’s an elderly couple in our development. We often see them walking. She with a walker and he cautiously walking beside her.The thing that set them apart was that they never seemed friendly. No smiles.
