As many may know I have been a long adherent of the BlackBerry. Why? Mostly because of the keyboard which for me was far easier to use than a touchscreen. Then my trusty Blackberry went dead and when I went to the Verizon store to look at the newest model I learned, to my alarm, that it too had a touchscreen and not a keyboard. It was a true moment of truth. Go with the new Blackberry or crossover to the Apple product which everyone has been teasing me about and lauding?

Last night at the Cocktail Party, I spent most of my time on the right side --- the Bar Room.  It seems that at every event on the second floor of the Friars Club, the crowd prefers one side or the other. Or, maybe it’s just me. Last night seemed to find more people in the Bar Room. One little story captures so much about what Gotham is.
I write this not to bash a company for an individual incident, but rather to shed light upon a policy that not only do many millions not know about, but also that all of the friends and relatives that I have who work for Citibank do not know about.  I also am curious if this is legal or standard policy among all other banks, as I have not yet decided if I am going to continue the 20+ year relationship that I have had with Citibank (my wife for over 30 years).
Apparently, here is what happened facilitated by a cell phone and You Tube.
Nancy’s recent blog about her daughter attending the prom inspired me to write this blog. Next Monday both my daughter and step-son will be attending their prom. Their preparations for the event could not be more different.
Like Don, we have been having a Father's Day Golf Outing for over the past 15 years. It started out as Me, My Dad, Norm and Austin. As the years rolled on Jake started attending and it felt good to have my Dad and my son with me.   Although my Dad passed almost three years ago I miss him. He was a gentle soul even though life was difficult for him growing up. I admired him and was very lucky to have spent a lot of time with him.
