I have never seen this before. Toilet seat handles.
Now why didn't I think of that.
Yesterday was a day not like any other. It was my birthday (57 years thank you:) but it wasn't just another birthday. Sure the milestones like 30, 40, and 50 are memorable (especially my 50th because it was a surprise party) but birthdays seem to roll by.
When we were young we worshipped the sun and could never get enough "Rays". "Catching Rays" with a reflector while coated with iodine laced baby oil was de rigueur. The above picture is representative of my "Chocolate Man" period. However, as the years passed (and the ozone layer burned away) baby oil morphed into sun screen as the sun began to sizzle my skin and now I am beginning to have empathy for and commiserate with the people. of the night No wonder my Halloween costume has become Count Dracula.
A lesson in how it works. Last Sunday there was a Fredslist posting from Warren looking for a nurse in Delray Florida for his mother. I saw the posting and got an email from Debbie highlighting it and asking me to forward it to the Advocates. I did and also emailed Warren with my suggestions for how best to proceed.
This past weekend, we visited Hyde Park. It was a beautiful day to tour the home that spanned the entirety of FDR’s entire life –from his birth through his death. Inside the main house, we saw the room in which he was born and just to the side of the house, both FDR and Eleanor are buried in his mother’s rose garden.
I love having the Sunday Times delivered to my home. I look forward to reading the magazine on Saturday afternoons along with the Real Estate section. The Real Estate section is one of my favorite parts because I love reading about Manhattan real estate.
The New York Times got it right yesterday with its first page one editorial in nearly 100 years. Its plea to Congress to pass some sensible gun laws will probably have little effect though. No mass murders over the past number of years have; not even enough for Congress to prohibit anyone on the "no fly" list from buying an assault weapon.
