Just yesterday I was having lunch with a friend of mine in a diner on Long Island. After we sat down, the owner came over and asked...did either of you drop $300 dollars?     I didn't but my friend checked his pockets and he was missing that exact amount of money. We were both blown away that this guy found it and brought it over.  

The title is intentionally deceiving to draw your attention.  I am not asking your IQ number.    I am asking which type or types of intelligence quotient best fits you. As pictured, there are actually 9 types of IQ and personally I’d like to think I’m in the running for 8.   No way, musical! No doubt, interpersonal! How’s about you?

Greetings from the Happy Island of Aruba. So, we’re walking on the beach and see two women taking pictures of delicious-looking fruit bowls. Couldn’t resist asking where they (the fruit bowls) were from. “Eduardo’s Beach Shack just over there.” As they pointed away from the water. We walked a little longer before turning around and began searching. It wasn’t long before we found Eduardo’s. We ordered our bowls and walked and found a spot to enjoy. After a few minutes, two young women came up to us and asked where we had gotten the fruit bowls.

  Redheads live by their own rules.  

  I must admit, I didn’t even notice that there was no host Sunday night for the Academy Awards.

I am writing this blog on Saturday afternoon. I woke up early (for me) to get to my 8:00 a.m. Weight Watcher meeting. Then I went food shopping and did some personal errands. After that, I stopped by a friend's house who recently had hand surgery. I brought her some groceries, help tidy up her apartment, put away her laundry etc., all of the basic chores that she's having trouble doing.  

After I put last week’s blog to bed, I noticed responses on twitter to a New York Times column that appeared on line last weekend – ahead of its appearance in print, one week ago today. The op-ed played on the apparent rejection by Queens residents of Amazon.

Although I made my yearly predictions a couple of months ago, I'm going to take a shot at the Oscar's that are airing Sunday night.   Here are my predictions:
