Marisa joined her dad for a nice pairing at The Capitol Theatre in Portchester.: Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates and Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze. Darryl already had hosted Glenn for "Live from Daryl's House" episode so I expected some playing together which happened for the encore.
The Daryl's House band (guitarist and musical director Shane Theriot, keyboardist Greg Mayo, drummer Brian Dunne, bassist Klyde Jones, percussionist Porter Carroll Jr., and saxophonist Charlie DeChant) backed both performers. More recently, Glenn has toured solo without a backing band so I enjoyed those versatile player behind Glenn who performed a set featuring songs from Squeeze, Difford and Tilbrook and his solo albums. No offense to Mr. Hall but my daughter told me post-show Glenn out performed Daryl; I found that interesting as Marisa had no familiarity -- to the best of her Dad's knowledge -- with Glen's solo work.
Enjoy the setlist:
