Tribal Networking

It's Better to Give Than Receive, But What Goes
Around, Comes Around.™

To forge a virtually cost-free partnership steeped in the spirit of fraternity (or sorority as the case may be) that goes beyond matters of immediate concern. This spirit is best served by fostering a climate characterized by Gotham's mantra. Said another way we are all non-salaried, non-commissioned sales people for each other! Thus, we seek to create a family/tribal environment stimulating mutual growth: business, social, creative, intellectual, artistic, charitable or otherwise. Our endeavors should enrich each participant through altruistic acts undertaken with a genuine concern for the welfare of our fellow networkers and the world.

We bring together service-oriented professionals in complementary fields to share not only contacts, but also ideas and resources. Learn more

We have always chuckled at my husband’s special talent. Seriously, he can – and usually does – talk to anyone. It doesn’t matter where he is, what line he is standing in, where he might be going. If he stands next to someone long enough, there is a conversation to get started. A few weeks ago we were in Costco. He commented on this guy’s tee shirt. Next thing you know, he was deep in conversation and figuring out that they knew each other from years back. For the longest...
The Power of Gotham

As the owner of the first Philly Pretzel Factory in Queens we are always looking for ways to build our brand and when we decided to upgrade our store signage we reached out to our very own Fred Morante of Minuteman Press of Bellerose for help.

Fred and I consulted over the phone first on what I was thinking of doing and he provided direction on the type of artwork we needed from the franchise graphic artists.  After ordering the new lettering for our store windows, we had our finished product within a few days and the end result was fantastic.  (see attached pictures)

We highly recommend Fred Morante and his company for all of your printing needs and the service is excellent!

Gotham Reacts

We have been deeply moved by the pain we are seeing and hearing all around us in recent days. In the most direct terms, Gotham stands firmly against racism and hate and in support of respect, kindness, and inclusion. We also recognize our collective responsibility to do better. We must take concrete steps to combat systemic and institutionalized racism.

Today we stand committed to conduct which promotes positive change. We stand with all of our members in understanding that we each need to look deeper into ourselves and do more to recognize and eliminate racial injustice and bias against black and brown people. Words are not enough. We must figure out how to move forward.  Gotham is a unique organization built on the strength of our relationships – personal and professional – and we know that together we have a unique power to create a positive impact on this critical conversation.
