In preparation for the midterm elections and all the associated drama, we have recommenced watching the 3 cable news channels.

We had stopped about 2 years ago and the first thing I noticed was the change in appearance of the familiar talking heads. The difference is stark!

Their stance and point of view is much the same though.  One might think there could have been some evolution.  But no!

Nonetheless, we needed some brushing up as we await the results.

We plan to vote and encourage you to do so also.

Will the results be stark?

Shelley Simpson

I remember him before his mind opened - something he talks about from time to time. She is by far one of the most interesting of humans. They certainly raise what has become a low bar in the world of political punditry. The time between November 3rd and January is going to be "interesting" for sure.

Rosalia Ruberto

Do you have any recommendations on programs you find informative on each of the networks? I find that after Tucker Carlson's exit from Fox News, there isn't much worth watching there anymore.

I watch those two every single morning.
For the first 10 or 12 minutes of the show.
That's all the news I can handle per day now.
I get the info, what the big thing is that's happening,
and then move on.
Any more than that and I start getting angry, resentful, and it colors the rest of the day verrrrry negatively.
I just sip, I don't want to get drunk.

Crysti Farra

for the whole mid term time to pass!  So done with all the negativity that seems to be the way of the political wind anymore.

That being said, I will vote.  It is interesting to see the varying comments on this post though.
