In the last few days, I seemed to have wandered into the same conversation with entirely different groups of people. I am not sure where I am landing in conclusion.  Maybe you can help.   I Roku.  Do you?  

Is it just me, or does it feel like no one works on Fridays in the summer anymore? Emails go unanswered, office parking lots are three quarters empty (especially my office), and court appearances always seem to be adjourned.   Has summer Friday off become an unspoken rule, or are we all just pretending to be "working remotely"?  

Marisa joined her dad for a nice pairing at The Capitol Theatre in Portchester.: Daryl Hall of Hall & Oates and Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze.  Darryl already had hosted Glenn for "Live from Daryl's House" episode so I expected some playing together which happened for the encore.

A recent article in TimeOut (first forwarded to me by our son who has transplanted to Alexandria, Virginia) reports that Long Island is now one of the sexiest accents in the United States.It got me thinking about accents. I guess we all have accents.

When it comes to blogging, my wife and I have been reading all the blogs imaginable on the internet about newborns. With our son, Emmitt, now being 3+ weeks old (born on June 20th, 2025), we constantly are wondering...is he ok? is it is suppose to look like that? is that sound normal? too much sleep? not enough sleep? too much to eat? not enough to eat? It's a spiral in which we read what other new parents have experienced. The verdict? There is never a straight forward answer and what we've learned is that every baby is different.

I’m not really a fan of the Home Run Derby. I get that it takes a lot of strength and coordination to hit a baseball out of the park, but I prefer games where there are more in-field hits and a chance to watch skilled fielding.
