In recent years recurring fees have become a part of our daily lives. Subscriptions, monthly fees, recurring charges. They hit our credit cards every month, after time goes bye you forgot what they were for. Your being billied every month and you dont even know what it is. Wall Street loves them, its dependable recurring revenue. I hate them. My New Years resolutions is to cancel as many as I can and at least understand what they are if i decide to keep them. Often times if you try to cancel them the provider will offer a discount. So far I have cancelled On - Star, Called Sirius XM and got a reduction, called verizon and cancelled 2 lines that were tied to ipads that are no longer used and got a discount on all the other lines and services because I told them I was going to leave.  Who's next?

Yessss.

Another way is to cancel card…Amazing how many automatic payments we have. And they will contact you. Give the new card number to just the ones you still want.

That Verizon scam is terrible. We just got new phones and Victoria noticed (and canceled) 2 IPads and an Apple Watch we didn’t know that we were  paying $20 a month each for!
