I had a different blog set for this morning, but something Fred said in our Philadelphia Gotham meeting last night prompted me to save the planned blog for another day, and write about the author. Fred is an amazing person. We all know this, and we surely have told him the same. Fred chooses the best in all of us and draws it to the surface. Like a gardner, he waters those talents and makes sure they get plenty of sunshine to grow strong.
  I have to admit I’m a little anxious. As I write this blog, I am readying to go back to my office tomorrow. It’s time. And truth is, I’m a little excited.
  I recently read an interesting article in New York Magazine. The subject of the article was the perennial maskers. The people interviewed for the story claimed that, even after mask mandates are lifted in New York and by the federal government, they would continue to wear their masks. Most of them agreed that they felt safe wearing masks and could see no reason to change that.

So today (Friday) at 3P I had an experience I haven't had in quite awhile...a business appointment that was not on Zoom. Masks on, elbow bumps for hello and a 10 minute conversation on shots, antibodies and viruses in general.  
If you have been vaccinated, I believe you are on the right track. What’s more, once vaccinated you receive a proof of vaccination card and it’s a keeper, as you may need it for various purposes. As such, you need to maintain it in decipherable condition and what better way than lamination. I pondered where can I get my vaccination card laminated and Staples popped to mind. So I called them to inquire and they said yes and what’s more “It’s free”! A (for sure) brilliant stroke of marketing!
