    Geography seems to be making a difference in my experiences since we started going on road trips. The people in North and South Carolina and Williamsburg, VA are all friendlier than those in Florida, for example. I'm curious where you are/were.

    Yes. Management no longer treats staff like family, turnover is high, customers are numbers. Usually happens in a merger or acquisition, benefits are eliminated or streamlined as are services in the chase to increase ROI.
