Music trumped an earlier announcement (a concert review of course) but Corey's Outdoor Office opened for business earlier this month (two weeks ago tomorrow actually).  In anticipation, i had procured new navy seat cushions and a new rectangular navy umbrella (Its predecessor got redeployed "downstairs" to the patio table near the grill.  I replaced some of the seat covers with re-purposed tarp that facilitates "deployment" of the "guest seating" and now use the table cover to safeguard the external monitor and the outside plug-in power connections for my devices.  The new covers stayed in place during the nor'easter last week.

I look forward to enjoying the outside space.  I was able to conduct and participate in several Zoom meeting outside.  One day it rained but I stayed dry under the umbrella; it was nice.  I look froward to more nice days so I can enjoy its benefits even more.

The additional plants Shelly added to the garden below the deck makes the view all the better.  It made me think of one of the early multi-LPs I bought, "A Gift from a Flower to a Garden," by Donovan; that influenced the title of today's commentary; after all the outside office space is a gift (to me) -- one that I truly enjoy and use!.
