I attended a professional meeting last week. The facilitator of the meeting asked us all to bring a joke to tell. The criteria was that the joke had to be not offensive, one you would tell a client.
I found the evening to be extremely enjoyable. Not everyone had the opportunity to tell a joke, because each joke led us into another interesting discussion. Which was probably the reason for the request to bring a joke.
Here’s the joke I told:
Three people, an accountant, engineer, and attorney were all interviewing for a job. The interviewer asked the accountant, “What is 2 plus 2?” The accountant answered, “4.” The interviewer asked the engineer, “What is 2 plus 2?” The engineer answered, “Somewhere between 3.99999 and 4.00001.” The interviewer asked the attorney, “What is 2 plus 2?” The attorney answered, “What do you want it to be?”
What joke would you tell?
