I’m a snoozer. I habitually set the alarm clock (actually set Alexa) for ten minutes before I really have to get up. Then when the alarm goes off, I happily set it to snooze for ten minutes. And I turn over and sleep for another ten minutes.


My husband is the opposite. After almost seventeen years of being married, it still amazes me that he just pops up and gets out of bed when the alarm goes off.


My husband argues that my snoozing is unhealthy. That I would get better sleep if I just set the alarm for ten minutes later, when I actually have to get up. But I continue snoozing.
