Yesterday, Gotham (& FDR Lodge 613 Knights of Pythias co-) hosted an afternoon at a warm Citi Field.  Perhaps "hot" better represented the day, not just for the heat.  Each team -- the New York Mets and the New York Yankees -- blasted three home runs; albeit none by Friday's fave Yankee who wears #99. The difference involved the three Mets blasts accounted for nine runs; the Yankees hit solo shots.  The final score 12-6 Mets reflected that difference.

Dave & Corey

Dave Abeshouse drove Fred Klein and this day's blogger to Citi Field early; we secure a prime parking spot near the truck where people store their oversized back packs (and even some baggage) before the game; my daughter joined us for the ride home.  It was nice to hang with fellow members of our tribe and/ or Pythians.  Before the game some of us dined in the Heineken-Hudson Club before we headed to our seats in the Coca Cola Corner.

Friday's and Sunday's blogger

I texted some of our of group my location in the club and several stopped by, including the (Raj and Sharon) Goels, my brother Richy and wife Adrianne and Dave Stein with whom Fred enjoyed a nice pre-game chat on franchises.

Tribal

I even connected a few pregame Pythians and Gothamites pre-game.

Do not know the results of today's ballgame biut my team already "won" the three game series -- sorry Fred!

Thank you Fred for the pics and "suggesting" the title of today's "report.".
