Have you ever noticed the Mugs you have sitting on your desk, in your kitchen cabinet, or displayed someplace else? I am not talking about a standard set of identical ones, I am thinking about the more unique ones. It’s a way of getting a message across, much like a T-shirt does, just ask Fred Klein. But there is something different here. It becomes personal ownership. Reasons for getting a mug can range from a special gift for a specific occasion (graduation, birthday, etc.) or just something or sometime that captures your interest. They become very special and very personal in ways. I have three mugs that are my daily users for coffee or tea. I usually choose one based on my feeling or size that dictates its use. But they are very near and dear to me and no one else in my family or friends ever uses one of them. I notice, at least in my family, that each person has their one special one as well. I am not sure it this is something in ever household, but in ours, it’s an unwritten law not to use someone’s “personalized” mug.

How is it in your house? Do you have a favorite and if so, does anyone else get to use it?

We have two mugs that are significant and we don't drink from either. They are on the counter - each filled with a different product - as a reminder of something special in the past and something special we can do that day. Good blog!
