Sleep deprivation

As I post this blog, late with apologies, I realized that I am one day behind, thinking today was Tuesday....

My work life has always been hectic, and I feel fortunate to have this problem, but at times, it causes me to get behind schedule and stay very late in the office or even work from home into the wee hours.  That being said, this disruption in the sleep patterns causes memory lapses.

One thing I have learned throughout my life, is that my reputation is won or lost on my taking ownership.  So today, the lesson is...

Sometimes you have to fall on your own sword and admit fault....

I was wrong for failing my duty to post my blog at the appropriate time!  My sincere apologies to all who look forward to Gotham's morning blog posts!

Sincerely,

Sleep deprivation, did you get the title from me, lol. I hear you loud and clear. I have gotten maybe four of sleep in the last two days. Not good for sure.

I never ever nap or sleep in the daytime. Yesterday I fell asleep at 4:40 pm and found myself awake an hour later and at least 45 minutes late for an early dinner date with friends. Happily or not, I am with Dan Schwartz on this. The issue is 4-6 hrs of sleep from 1am to 8am with 3-4 wake-up breaks per night. My Circadian Clock has returned to the settings of my well-spent Youth.

I think that having the ability to fall on your sword shows strength of character.
