Guttmacher Institute, American Jewish Committee, Governor Kathy Hochul, Marisa Bearak, Jonathan Bearak, Congestion Pricing

Today culminates a special week for my clan.  It started with Shelly taking a ride on her new bike transported for the first time via a bike rack.  Then we learn of our son Jonathan's promotion at Guttmacher Institute to Principal Research Scientist, Modeling & Analytics. A few days later New York Governor Kathy Hochul announces an indefinitely pause of the congestion pricing toll-tax scheme I've long been working against (I expect more news on this front later today.).  This afternoon starts the American Jewish Committee Global Forum on which our daughter Marisa is working to make a difference as Assistant Director of its New York office. So much going on and all in the family.

Good family! Congratulations for all the successes and choices they are making.
(Saw Sly and the full original band many times when I was in High School. They were awesome in person. I will never forget those shows.)

Well-earned. It’s that tireless Bearak tenacity for a higher calling. Brava Marisa!
