I’m starting to think about the summer and wondering where we might run for a quick weekend or two.  No big plans in our future, I’m afraid, but a quick getaway or two sounds nice.

 

Where have you visited recently for a quick trip? Maybe I will get an idea from you.

My entire life has become "a getaway", filled to the brim with non-profit volunteering and headed for a very intense Election Year. I am trying to squeeze in a trip to California to see my sole surviving centenarian, my good friends in San Francisco, and one more opportunity to eat those sweet teeny tiny Bay Shrimp.

As you know I'm going to Portugal tomorrow night. I'm also excited that I convinced my husband to travel to London the weekend of his birthday, with friends, so he can watch the Jets play in London. I, of course,, will not be going to the game but, rather, enjoying tea at Harrod's. :)
