This is my Oscar blog.

Fred’s blog this past Friday made me anxious. Like Fred, I generally write my blog a few days before it’s posted or, if I’m going away, I use a prewritten blog from my blog bank. Normally, by Friday, I have a blog topic selected. On Saturday morning, I sit at my kitchen table with my cup of coffee and write and post my blog.

From now on I am going to say less.  I think that is best.

With the flix email through Gotham heating up and my uncannily accurate predictions for the year, I decided to jump out on the ledge to predict the Oscars this year.   Here are my predictions for tomorrow night's contest:  

My Friday With Fred blog appears in this space weekly and, theoretically, there is attendant deadline pressure.  A deadline is a date or time on or before which something must be completed.  When I was young I oft times failed to meet deadlines. As a consequence I paid many a price and learned my lesson. Now my reaction to a deadline is to stay ahead of it. 

2 Fools And A Bull is a restaurant in Aruba. Only one sitting per evening. About sixteen people sitting around a counter with the chef and host in the center. Chef’s choice and many courses with wine. Lends itself to good conversation with interesting new friends for the evening.

I learned at a very young age that there are two types of people in the world; those that like milk chocolate and those that like dark chocolate. And, the best marriages, are composed of one of each type of chocolate lover.
