Gothamites Laurel Scarr-Konel and Crysti Farra brought Tuscany Italy to Gotham on Tuesday night in the form of an entertaining sommelier- Gabriele Salvatori and an amazing sampling of wines from the Tenuta Torciano Winery in San Gimignano.About 25 of us were treated to a fine selection of wines, light fare (to accompany the wines), and bread (to sample the olive oil, truffle oil and balsamic vinegar).

My husband and I were discussing clubs we used to go to in the 70’s/80’s. I was talking about one club I used to enjoy going to in Valley Stream. I could not, however, remember the name.
My husband said to me, “Just google, clubs in Valley Stream in the 70’s.” I looked at him very skeptically and googled it just to placate him. To my surprise there was a list of clubs including the one I was thinking of, The Back Barn.
