Today, I am making an important career change. After eight years of being a solo practitioner, I have moved my practice to a law firm, The Hedayati Law Group.

After years of being a solo lawyer, joining a firm later in my career feels like it will be like moving in with a roommate after years of having the house to myself—exciting, but it is definitely going to be an adjustment. It’s going to be a huge change to go from making every decision myself to collaborating, sharing ideas, and occasionally having someone else tell you what the code is to get into the bathroom. But, even after years of doing things my own way, a new chapter and way of doing things feels like exactly what I need. 

 Who says you can’t teach an old lawyer some new tricks?
