Trike
By far, one of the foremost pleasures in Key West is biking. The little island is perfectly flat with bike friendly lanes.
However, due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, I can no longer ride a "two wheeler". I am reduced to biking on a trike (tricycle).
To make matters worse, I am historically on record with my distain for males on a trike. Call me what you like, but I am who I am!
Now with my new situation, I must eat my words and an humbled in many ways. Not the least of which is that, at first, I couldn't get the hang of it as I tried to pedal this unwieldy contraption (Lou Celi's trike pictured). Worse still, Joanne had no problem :(
As the days pass, I'm managing it as I wrestle to come to grips with the first days of the rest of my life...

You will get used to it. Think of all the tough Harley riders that go through this same transition on motorcycles. The key is keep going, regardless of the ride.

Looks like a solid, comfortable ride.
It looks like a solid, comfortable ride. I admire how you’ve adapted. You’re still out there doing it. Honestly, that seems like a smart upgrade.
