Leaving Time

It was our anniversary and we had nothing very special planned.
We made reservations for dinner at a local restaurant and left very very early for a stroll down the Main Street. Leaving extra time. Hours purposely left with nothing planned. When you walk, you see things you don’t notice otherwise. Local treasures.
Still too early for dinner, we stopped at a wine bar. A drink, pretzel with mustard and cheese dip, an hour, a couch and internet…..the simple pleasures. What more could you ask for?
A lovely afternoon and dinner on a special day.
Aubrey Avenue, Oyster Bay.

Sounds like pure joy to me…to share such simple pleasures with the one you love, uninterfered with by the unceasing demands of daily life. Bravo!
