Some say that Valentines Day is a Hallmark Card day and, sad to say, to some extent it has been commercialized.

heart

Nonetheless, it can and should be a special day on which to express love, devotion and affection to your special person.

St. Valentines Day is an annual festival celebrating romantic love, friendship and affection.

And that’s just what I plan to do with Joanne, my life love and friend with whom I share those feelings!

I hope you all make this a special sharing day and enjoy it in doing so!

Happy Valentines Day to all!

Happy V Day to a great couple! Love you both! I Love Valentine’s Day - but honestly I’m so blessed that every single day I get to celebrate being with the love of my life. He makes me so happy and is such an inspiration as a person, Valentine’s Day is just another excuse to tell him how much I adore and appreciate him. I love you honey!

Valentines Day sure has become commercialized (as have just about any other "special" day or holiday on the calendar). But it does remind us of the special people in our life and to take the time to acknowledge them with hugs, kisses, chocolate, flowers and a great meal.

I’ve figured out that rising to the expectations of Valentine’s Day never seems to hit the mark . Living a life with Diane is proof enough. The existence portends everything that St. Valentine would have wrought . Coexistence with minimal angst . Tasting the nectar that we were born to savor . Not expecting it but living it .By design . Uncomplicated and comfortable . Minus the mind games and expectations . Uncomplicated and natural . Nothing for granted or expected . Comfort zone . No threats or complications . Relaxed . Comfort Zone . Smell the roses while you can . Ruminate you’re bounty and replay what got you here . The hard work that taught you how to reap what you have sewn. Valentine’s Day is the peace you have earned . The status you have pursued . The comfort of your soul .
