Friday’s blogger evidently passed on this milestone; he could have covered it in anticipation ahead of the poor weekend or after the fact going into this weekend. I covered it six years ago when the anniversary fell on the next day (obviously a Monday). I alluded to it two years ago when it fell on the day of Gotham Picnic Softball game that got rained out the day before this Sunday blog.

I offer kudos to Fred for remembering last Tuesday and texting “Happy 16th Anniversary!” early that morning.

Who else was there that morning joining Fred on the program panel  for a Continuing Legal Education (“CLE”) in 2009? All remain active in Gotham. There were likely other members present in the audience (Perhaps some will note their presence that day in the comments.).  Funny how a sport involving a bat, ball and glove connected us then and today makes us anxious as we look ahead to results later this afternoon/early this evening.
