Self Doubt

We are all subject to self doubt, momentary or otherwise. Unfortunately, it is a common human condition.

Some let it bring them down needlessly. While others learn to cope with, work through or around it.

One of the benefits of life experience is that we learn, through trial and error, that, 9 times out of 10, feelings of self doubt, anxiety or fear, fall short in reality.  In fact, we usually end up just fine.

Think positively, search for lifelines and Silver Linings.  Look at the bright side.

We can all be winners!

Perfect Timing for the upcoming Holiday Season. However we have little, if any experience with what the "New Normal" has in store for us during these frustrating times. #JingleBells& WhiteChristmas....

Definitely perfect timing. My anxiety has been at an all time high the last several months and I could use this right about now. On a brighter note, Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife today.

Totally Agree. And I find the older I get The less those thoughts occur. And when they do I try not to dwell on them :)

In my world doubt about having enough money or knowing that you will be able to retire one day causes many to doubt their self worth and position. My mantra during the pandemic has been cash is king and risk is only a risk if you don’t have a source of alternative liquidity. Professionally if I can improve a prospect or clients cash flow with one structural move, doubt which is the mind-killer, is ameliorated and confidence in ones plan and glide path takes over.

Thank you, Fred, for your positive thoughts. We do need to be strong, and knowing there are others willing to be our lifeline helps do that. But I think that being someone's lifeline is even better for both. Thank you again.

Good one! We have all overcome every challenge we've faced so far. Who hasn't had to reach down and pull ourselves up by our guts at some time in the past? That's what can buoy us for what's ahead.

Lifelines, silver linings - YES! For me, gratitude and doing something nice for someone else also help get me out of my own vortex... Happy TG dear friends. Grateful for you.
