I must have seen the commercial a dozen times. Recently, it has taken on new meaning.
In addition to discovering ancestry, the tests offer meaningful insight into genetic tendencies for illnesses.
My apprehension about genetic testing is under internal review. Is it the next generation of diagnostics?

I did the genetic testing when it first came out commercially and now the enhanced version. No surprises - I am "related" to all other Jewish people on this planet!

DNA and genetics have always fascinated me. I met relatives recently. A NASA scientist (cousin), named Karl. Karl's daughter's name is Karli! We never met before, but had so much in common. Most importantly, I learned I am not Irish.

I did a test. I am 85% Ashkenazi Jew 14% Eastern European and 1%Nigerian. I also took an aptitude test. The result was that I would do great in any industry that was owned by a close relativel

Best to do this rest AFTER you have all the insurance you will ever need. Regardless, it’s on my bucket list. Forewarned is forearmed.

I think the who ancestry/DNA thing is a big scam to get personal info on you and market you more.
