With Halloween approaching and folks perhaps searching for music appropriate as it approaches, I share my “Halloween tunes” playlist.   I literally created it two years ago today with versions available on YouTube and in Apple Music. John Fogerty/ Creedence Clearwater Revival fan that I am, the list starts with CCR’s “Bad Moon Rising” and closes with John’s updated re-recording with sons Shane and Tyler on the recently released “Legacy-The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years.” I hope you enjoy the music!

Indeed, many, including regular readers here, know I like making playlists.  At the request of Gotham’s entertainment/events chair, Norm Spizz I created one for a June 2014 Gotham Cocktail Party.  I even once made a list for Friday’s blogger (do not know if he still has it.) that exceeds 20 hours.  Last weekend heading to a bat mitzvah in Dobbs Ferry and later to its reception in Stamford, I “relied” on my Songs for the Road playlist in Apple Music.  It runs over four hours and since we chose quiet time for the early morning ride home, I finished the list off heading to a two-day NYC Central Labor Council retreat Wednesday.  That long ride left open plenty of time to start a playlist inspired by last year’s retreat.  After dark, this time after watching that eve’s mayoral debate (and in my case also the end of the Knicks opening night deficit of the Cavs), we again convened around a safe fire pit (see pic upper left).  We used the Apple Music version which runs just over two hours. I named the list appropriately in my humble opinion after its lead song, “I Can Feel The Fire,” a song that also leads off the first solo album — I’ve Got My Own Album To Do — by current Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood, then the lead guitarist of The Faces (that featured Rod Stewart on most vocals).
