I pretty much settled on this topic driving out to the IBEW Local 3 Educational Conference Center in Cutchogue for a NYC Central Labor Council Political Directors Annual Political/ Legislative  Conference last week.  Setting out early Wednesday only, knowing it might take 90 minutes or so, I selected my Songs for the Road playlist. In my Apple Music, its 51 songs total 4 hours 16 minutes.  No need to pull over to load up another list while en route.  Indeed, it offered enough length for the return home Thursday and a pickup of my daughter Friday in advance of yesterday's celebratory dine out.

Earlier in the week, on the App formerly known as Twitter, there was a post (used to be called a tweet) asking your fave Allman Brothers Band tune.  I responded with Blue Sky and realized it might not be (and it should've been) on my Songs of Love playlist; it got added.  Last month, after attending the Eagles show with my daughter, I blogged here about the show and noted some songs I'd have preferred made the setlist, including more songs from On The Border.  One song on the LP, Midnight Flyer, a late Randy Meisner song, I realized as missing from the Train Tunes playlist; I added it.

I list a dozen song lists on my website with links to YouTube and Apple Music playlists.  My Apple Music includes over a dozen more: "Horns,"Dylan Covers by The Byrds," "Dylan Covers" (by others), and other themes; all are findable on my Apple Music profile and in Search.

P.S. Since these blogs are non-political, I just refer folks to view the many posts to X by various public officials that I "liked" concerning yesterday's event and all that follow; I have strong views and I want to commend my daughter for her efforts yesterday in response; she made me proud.
