Our week on Martha’s Vineyard began with an amazing spiritual journey in Karma. We joined Flo’s brother’s family who had arrived on the island earlier. And the karma began …. First it was our nephew who was behind someone who dropped a hundred dollar bill. Justin picked it up and caught up with the unaware and returned the bill. And the next evening, our niece was having dinner with her boyfriend at a restaurant in Oak Bluffs when the waiter informed them that their dinner was being comped by an anonymous patron who had been observing the couple. (I believe that their brother’s gesture was cosmically connected.) And things come in threes…. As Flo and I were leaving the Agricultural Fair, Flo got a voice message from the West Tisbury police. Her wallet was found and turned in —Flo didn’t even know it was missing. We drove back to the Fair and were greeted by the smiling policeman who had the wallet—with its contents intact. He had no idea who had found it and returned it. Somehow, the three acts are all connected. Martha’s Vineyard Karma.
