We approached the door to leave the store as a young man and woman were entering.
He held the door for his friend as she entered and then motioned for us to come through the door as he held it open. As I said thank you for his courtesy, I noticed the “Wrestling” on his T Shirt and asked him where he wrestled.
He wrestled for the local high school and I followed up and asked him what weight class he competed in.
He answered “126 pounds”.
He smiled when I told him that I wrestled at 126 in college.
After all of these months in various degrees of isolation, this random interaction makes me smile.
