To lose favor or a position of power or honor is a fall from grace.
Last weekend a hot shot, flashy football player, who happens to be the son of his coach "Neon" Deion Sanders, was expected and expected to be one of the top 3 National Football League draft picks. Namely, Sheduer (Light of the Almighty) Sanders, the star Colorado QB.
He was ready to be coronated, but pick after pick his status and stock shrunk and after the second day of the draft (and 102 picks) he was fallow in free fall.
In the end, he was chosen, in the 5th round, on the third and final day of the draft after 143 others had been picked.
What lesson did he learn?
Why did this happen?
Will he harness the humiliating experience as motivation?
Has the last chapter been written?
Does anyone care?
