As my wife enters her third trimester of pregnancy, we patiently await our first child to arrive in July. I keep hearing, "nothing will prepare you to be a parent and your life will change forever". Well, I am heeding that advice for the future but truly believe that change is happening now. The past 30 weeks has been a whirlwind of a ride as we are eager to meet him and have been adjusting accordingly.

This period of our lives has been a time where patience and faith is re-learned and what matters in life has been re-evaluated. The strength of family, friends, colleagues, and acquaintances is at an all time high in our lives receiving prayers and support along the way.

All this wonderfulness has created a bond for this baby and our lives that I never saw coming. I suppose it's the moments in life that you can't predict and the change you can't prepare for that will make a difference.
