I began my career in the financial industry 15 years ago and have worked extensively in several fields, including non-profit, closely held businesses, real estate, professional athletics, and construction. I have successfully built teams in each of these areas and value the core principles of teamwork and collaboration in financial planning. I grew up in a large family and have had the opportunity to see, on a personal level, the outcomes of different financial decisions. I attended the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management for Finance and Business Management and began my career as a financial advisor immediately after. I now live full time in NYC with offices in New York and Minneapolis. In my free time, I love to cook, travel, golf, play volleyball and softball, spend time on the water, and with family and friends.

I work with business owners on both the personal and business side of planning to produce the most comprehensive plans, integrate with other trusted professionals, and grow and protect their dreams and goals. Common strategies employed include but are not limited to: personal financial planning, asset allocation, investment management, retirement planning, tax managed investing, executive benefit strategies, buy sell funding, and 401k plans.

Good Lead: A good lead for me is 1. A business owner in the construction field or related industry (real estate, architecture, engineering, etc). I like to work closely with the business owner(s) and management team, so generally companies with 10-100 employees are an excellent fit for me, as this allows me to do my most impactful breadth of work. 2. Trusted professionals I can refer to serve my clients' additional needs. These commonly include business attorneys, estate planning attorneys, business bankers, accountants and tax professionals, third party administration services, bookkeeping services, and property and casualty insurance agents.
