[Fredslist] Bag and box donations

Hi Everyone

This past Saturday, I attended a 60th birthday party.  The focus was on
giving back.  We created 61 birthday boxes to give to needy families that
can't thrown their own birthday party.  We used boxes the same size as a box
of 10 reams of paper and decorated them.  We then filled it with enough

Supplies to cater to a group fo 12.

 

If you remember, I collected womens gently used handbags for the cause as
well.  I collected about 1/3 of the bags but there were at least 100.
Attached is the picture of the bags.  They were filled with items women in
transiton would need just to get by in their hour of need or if they found
themselves homeless.  It was a fun way to celebrate a milestone birthday.
