On Long Island there is a long history of private clubs that were built in the late 1800s and early 1900s. In todays world these clubs are very prestigous, very expensive and imposible to be a member at. The Gotham golf outing being at Cold SPring CC is one of these clubs, a very beutiful place. But on Long Island there are many clubs, and one is better than the next, all with a long history and very large properties carved into the landscape. I have been to many of these clubs but this week I played in an outing that seemed to be the nicest of them all, until the next one. MBH.
