Two days after the Paul Simon show reviewed last Sunday by this commentator and Friday’s blogger two days before that, I saw a reunited The Guess Who “Takin’ It BackTour” rock Jones Beach. Former Eagles Guitarist who joined during the One off These Nights sessions but was not part of reunion tour opened. Felder’s arrangement of songs (see setlist) he wailed on strayed not a bit from the originals. Randy Bachman and Burton Cummings reuniting as The Guess Who for the first time in some 23 years offered hit and classic songs they wrote back in the day plus three Bachman-Turner Overdrive written and sung by Randy. Both featured performers assembled excellent bands. Randy and Burton are backed by Tim Bovaconti (guitar), Joe Augello (guitar), Jeff Jones (bass), Nick Sinopoli (percussion/vocals), and Sean Fitzsimons (drums). Going Don Felder were Jeff Coffey (formerly of Chicago, bass) ; Dave Amato (formerly of REO Speedwagon, guitar) and Steve Rausch, (Drums).

I titled this blog after my fave song by The Guess Who and the first of the two encore songs Randy and Burton played (and perhaps inspired by Gotham Webmaster's commentary yesterday in this forum). I also included “Share the Land in my Songs to Inspire playlist.
