As I put my dad on his plane to go home to Texas, I had to reflect on the many blessings he brought to our lIves. He is not my dad by birth, but he accepted my sister and I from the beginning as his own. I will forever be grateful.

I must also say that American Airlines personnel did rmight by us. Espcorting my father to his gate (his mEemory is not the best). Kind and compassionate, they rushed me tthrough the bag check so he wwould not hAve to wwith in the long lines.

His flight take  his physical being far from me, but in my heart he is as close as ever.

Safe flight home dad, back to my loving sister and brother in law, who love you almost as much as I do!
