Well almost.  Monday, my deck got power-washed in advance of setting up what I often call my "outside office.  Also, two roots that lifted some patio blocks some also got cut out. And two new out lamps replaced the one existing; they make it real easy work after the sun goes down Friday morning. the patio got sealed.

That afternoon I deployed the umbrellas and took out our two chaise lounges (which remain closed under the tarp).  Yesterday, I connected the surge protector but decided not to connect the "outside monitor" until I take out the MacBook; its stand already sits atop the table (covered by the tarp -- see the pic above).  Meanwhile, it remains in the chest.

Part of the "allure" of the outside office involves more than just basking in the sun and fresh air; I enjoy viewing the plants; some are already in place.
