I entered a lottery and for once, I won.  The prize, a ticket to the award ceremony for Justice  Ketanji Brown Jackson's Memoir, Lovely One.

Quite the orator, it was no amazing evening. She spoke of her beginnings and how family support was the driving force in her rise to the highest court in our nation.

As we go into this holiday,be thankful for family, in whatever form it comes!
