It's Back!
Baseball that is! Specifically New York Mets baseball. Though the thought of watching baseball live next Month and next weekend on television.makes me happy, I remain committed to my promise not to darn any baseball paraphernalia - caps, jersey or hoodies until Opening Day at the earliest. It’s my way to continue my protest for my team’s FAILURE (emphases intended) to re-sign its all-time home run leader. It may or may not make a difference in the outcome this season; it remains a stupid move that I covered previously. I’ll not look for opportunities to make that point further; I moved on - a bit. I will root for newly-signed or traded-for Mets and of course the home-grown kind (like the great player a Mets decision-maker or more foolishly allowed to leave.).
Let’s Go Mets and — as the all-time home run leader would state — #LFGM!

You moved on, sought of? Excuse me, I sat next to you last night and not only haven’t you moved on but ai don’t think you’ll ever get over the Mets humongous mistake of letting Pete Alonso walk. I 100% agree with you, I hope he hits 60+ homers this year and has the best year of his career and continues to build on that and eventually make the Hall Of Fame, entering wearing a Baltimore Oriole baseball cap. Pick out a game to go down to Baltimore and I’ll accompany you, as long as we take in the Babe Ruth museum and hang out in the inner harbor after the game. Mets screwed up big time where Pete Alonso was concerned because you can’t put a value on the intangibles he brought to the table, especially being a supportive teammate who happened to be a clubhouse leader.
