I took a risk of sorts.  Perhaps I just believed.  I wanted to blog about a Knicks win.  It meant waiting.  Obviously I did wait…a bit.

Congratulations New York Knicks.  They delivered!  Big time!  A big joy to experience.

The team I root for beat not only a great Spurs team, they had to beat missed calls, bad calls, perhaps even a league that wanted a longer series.  The earned a trophy and the acclaim that followed!

After the game so many great moments from the Brunsons embracing after the Knicks won to the post game press conferences.

Postgame I enjoyed watching Charles Barkley tell father and son that the Knicks signing Jalen was the best-ever free-agent signing.

Both Finals MVP Jalen Brunson and KAT (Karl-Anthony Towns) impressed me in their back-to-back post-game interviews.

So many times I watch teams I root for lose games after one bad call or one bad play changes a game’s trajectory.  This game and Finals purged those demons — this New York Knicks team overcame those things.

One for the ages.

It was great seeing the Knicks win the championship.  But their whole post season was fun to watch.  What a terrific run!

I really your comment about overcoming bad calls. Sometimes teams just get a rash of bad calls throughout a game or a series. You have to overcome it. You have no option. As a Bills fan, I can relate!

My wife (who never watches sports) stayed up to watch the end.  The Knicks have been a great story and it's been exciting watching the City come together as one (except for those few Nets fans)
