> This is my 23rd year with Fred's Team and we are also celebrating 30 years of the formation of Fred's Team.

> I’m taking on the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon(26.2 Miles) with Fred’s Team, the official running program of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). My goal is to raise as much as I can to support groundbreaking cancer research at MSK.
> 
> I am running in memory of my father, Stephen Kamberg, who passed away from Pancreatic Cancer on July 8th, 2014.    I have been running with Fred's Team since 2002.   On 11/2/25 I will be running my 18th NYC Marathon and overall 36th Marathon.    Every marathon I have run is special and it is an honor for me to continue raising money for Cancer Research.

The Hebrew Letter chai represents the word "life" in Hebrew and is prominent symbol in Jewish culture.  It consists of two Hebrew letters: Chet and Yud.  The word "Chai" is pronounced like "hi" or "high" in English.  In Judaism, the word "chai" and the number 18  (the sum of Chet and Yud's Numerical Values) area associated with good luck, blessings, and the value of life.
