[Fredslist] Remote notarization for overseas signatory

[Michael D. Steger]

An overseas client needs a USPS form notarized to authorize forwarding of
their US mail to another US address.  The signatory is overseas.

 

Does anyone know if this can be done remotely?  The current NY remote
notarization guidelines state that the signatory has to be in New York State
for a remote signing.
